MilDef Group AB: MilDef wins UK deal with new product

MilDef has won its first significant order with a product for remote controlling of unmanned vehicles and sensor systems. The order consists of 100 tactical tablets and 100 robot controllers. The end customer is specialist users with the UK defence sector. Order value is approximately SEK 7 million.

The new product consists of a rugged tablet that is docked with a customizable robot controller. The combination creates an advanced capability to remotely control unmanned vehicles or sensor systems and show sensor data and other information on the display. A powerful processor completes the system with the ability to perform real-time calculations.
