Azerion, a leading digital entertainment and media plattform listed on Euronext Amsterdam, and Goobit Group, a pioneer in digital assets and blockchain, have today entered into a Letter of Intent (LOI) regarding digital asset AML-desk services (Anti Money Laundry) developed and supplied by Goobit. The intention of the LOI is that Goobit will be Azerion’s exclusive AML-partner giving Azerion access to real-time AML-screening and AML-reporting for digital assets.
The LOI is a step towards Goobit expanding its digital asset service offering. The AML-desk will take advantage of Goobit’s indepth experience of the crypto and blockchain technology. It will be offered as a SaaS and also be available for content creators, merchants and platform providers that want to ensure their digital assets comply with AML standards.
“As a crypto pioneer I have been part of the development of digital assets for a long time. I am certain that the knowledge about blockchain and AML that we have gained during the past ten years will be an important asset as we are forming the future of NFTs, gaming and e-sports,” says Christian Ander, founder and CEO of Goobit Group.
“As Azerion we are carefully planning our steps in this new industry. Cooperating with Goobit is a leap into security for our customer and the responsibility that we are striving for,” says Jurriaan van Teunenbroek, Vice President Gaming and Content of Azerion.
It is expected that the LOI will be followed up by a formal agreement defining the scope, roll-out and implementation of the partnership. An agreement is of strategic importance to Goobit, but is in itself not expected to have a significant impact on Goobit’s earnings in the short or medium term.
